1 Samuel 1:21 (IRVTA) Indian Revised Version - Tamil

1 {எல்க்கானாவும் அவனது குடும்பமும்} PS எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்திலிருக்கிற சோப்பீம் என்னப்பட்ட ராமதாயீம் ஊரானாகிய ஒரு மனிதன் இருந்தான்; அவனுக்கு எல்க்கானா * தேவன் என்னை உண்டாக்கினார் என்று பெயர்; அவன் எப்பிராயீமியனாகிய சூப்புக்குப் பிறந்த தோகுவின் மகனான எலிகூவின் மகனான எரோகாமின் மகன்.
2 அவனுக்கு இரண்டு மனைவிகள் இருந்தார்கள்; ஒருத்தி பெயர் அன்னாள் † கிருபை பெற்றவள் , மற்றவள் பெயர் பெனின்னாள் ‡ முத்து, விலை உயர்ந்த கல், 10 வருடத்திற்கு பிறகு திருமணம் செய்யப்பட்டவள் ; பெனின்னாளுக்குப் பிள்ளைகள் இருந்தார்கள்; அன்னாளுக்கோ பிள்ளை இல்லை.
3 அந்த மனிதன் சீலோவிலே சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவை தொழுதுகொள்ளவும் அவருக்குப் பலியிடவும் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் தன்னுடைய ஊரிலிருந்து போய்வருவான்; அங்கே யெகோவாவின் ஆசாரியரான ஏலியின் இரண்டு மகன்களான ஒப்னியும், பினெகாசும் இருந்தார்கள்.
4 அங்கே எல்க்கானா பலியிடும் நாளிலே அவன் தன்னுடைய மனைவியாகிய பெனின்னாளுக்கும், அவளுடைய எல்லா மகன்களுக்கும் மகள்களுக்கும் பங்குபோட்டுக் கொடுப்பான்.
5 அன்னாளை நேசித்ததினால், அவளுக்கு இரண்டு பங்கு கொடுப்பான் § அன்னாளை நேசித்தாலும் BR அவளுக்கு ஒரு பங்கு தான் கொடுப்பான் ; யெகோவாவோ அவள் கர்ப்பத்தை அடைத்திருந்தார்.
6 யெகோவா அன்னாளுடைய கர்ப்பத்தை அடைத்தபடியினால், அவளுடைய சக்களத்தி அவள் துக்கப்படும்படியாக அவளுக்கு மிகவும் எரிச்சலுண்டாக்குவாள்.
7 அவள் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போகும்போது, அவன் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் அப்படியே செய்வான்; இவள் அன்னாளை மனவேதனைப்படுத்துவாள்; அப்பொழுது அவள் சாப்பிடாமல் அழுதுகொண்டிருப்பாள்.
8 அவளுடைய கணவனான எல்க்கானா அவளைப் பார்த்து: அன்னாளே, ஏன் அழுகிறாய்? ஏன் சாப்பிடாதிருக்கிறாய்? ஏன் சஞ்சலப்படுகிறாய்? பத்து மகன்களைவிட நான் உனக்கு மேலானவன் அல்லவா? என்றான். PS
9 {அன்னாளின் ஜெபம்} PS சீலோவிலே அவர்கள் சாப்பிட்டுக் குடித்தபின்பு, அன்னாள் எழுந்தாள்; ஆசாரியனான ஏலி யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் வாசற்கதவருகில் ஒரு இருக்கையின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான்.
10 அவள் போய், மனங்கசந்து, மிகவும் அழுது, யெகோவாவை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம்செய்து:
11 சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவே, தேவரீர் உம்முடைய அடியாளின் சிறுமையைக் கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்த்து, உம்முடைய அடியாளை மறக்காமல் நினைத்தருளி, உமது அடியாளுக்கு ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைக் கொடுத்தால், அவன் உயிரோடிருக்கும் எல்லா நாட்களும் நான் அவனைக் யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; அவனுடைய தலையின்மேல் சவரகன் கத்தி படுவதில்லை என்று ஒரு பொருத்தனை செய்தாள்.
12 அவள் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக அதிகநேரம் விண்ணப்பம்செய்கிறபோது, ஏலி அவளுடைய வாயைக் கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
13 அன்னாள் தன்னுடைய இருதயத்திலே பேசினாள்; அவளுடைய உதடுகள்மட்டும் அசைந்தது, அவள் சத்தமோ கேட்கவில்லை; ஆகவே, அவள் குடிவெறியில் இருக்கிறாள் என்று ஏலி நினைத்து,
14 அவளை நோக்கி: நீ எதுவரைக்கும் குடிவெறியில் இருப்பாய்? உன் குடியை உன்னைவிட்டு விலக்கு என்றான்.
15 அதற்கு அன்னாள் பதிலாக: அப்படியல்ல, என் ஆண்டவனே, நான் மனவேதனையுள்ள பெண்; நான் திராட்சை ரசமோ, மதுவோ குடிக்கவில்லை; நான் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக என்னுடைய இருதயத்தை ஊற்றிவிட்டேன்.
16 உம்முடைய அடிமையை துன்மார்க்கத்தின் பெண்ணாக நினைக்கவேண்டாம்; மிகுதியான துன்பத்தினாலும், துயரத்தினாலும் இந்த நேரம்வரை விண்ணப்பம்செய்தேன் என்றாள்.
17 அதற்கு ஏலி சமாதானத்துடன் போ; நீ இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனிடத்தில் கேட்ட உன் விண்ணப்பத்தின்படி அவர் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடுவாராக என்றான்.
18 அப்பொழுது அவள்: உம்முடைய அடியாளுக்கு உம்முடைய கண்களிலே தயவு கிடைக்கட்டும் என்றாள்; பின்பு அந்த பெண் புறப்பட்டுப்போய் சாப்பிட்டாள்; அதன்பின்பு அவள் துக்கமுகமாக இருக்கவில்லை. PS
19 {சாமுவேலின் பிறப்பும் பொருத்தனையும்} PS அவர்கள் அதிகாலையில் எழுந்து, யெகோவாவைத் தொழுதுகொண்டு, ராமாவிலிருக்கிற தங்களுடைய வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போனார்கள்; எல்க்கானா தன் மனைவியாகிய அன்னாளுடன் இணைந்தான்; யெகோவா அவளை நினைத்தார்.
20 சிலநாட்கள் சென்றபின்பு அன்னாள் கர்ப்பவதியாகி, ஒரு மகனைப் பெற்று, யெகோவாவிடத்தில் அவனைக் கேட்டேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு சாமுவேல் * தேவன் பதில் அளித்தார், என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.
21 எல்க்கானா என்பவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு வருடந்தோறும் செலுத்தும் பலியையும் தன்னுடைய பொருத்தனையையும் செலுத்தும்படியாக, தன்னுடைய வீட்டார் அனைவரோடும் போனான்.
22 அன்னாள் அவர்களுடன் போகவில்லை; அவள்: பிள்ளை பால்குடிப்பதை மறந்தபின்பு, அவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக காணப்படவும், அங்கே எப்பொழுதும் இருக்கவும், நான் அவனைக் கொண்டுபோய்விடுவேன் † அவன் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் நசரேயனாக இருக்கும்படி அவனை ஆலயத்தில் விட்டுவிடுவேன்; என்று தன்னுடைய கணவனிடம் சொன்னாள். PS
23 {யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தில் சாமுவேல்} PS அப்பொழுது அவளுடைய கணவனாகிய எல்க்கானா அவளை நோக்கி: நீ உன்னுடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி செய்து, அவனை பால் மறக்கச்செய்யும்வரை இரு; யெகோவா தம்முடைய வார்த்தையைமட்டும் நிறைவேற்றுவாராக என்றான்; அப்படியே அந்தப் பெண் தன்னுடைய பிள்ளையைப் பால் மறக்கச்செய்யும்வரைக்கும் பாலூட்டி வளர்த்தாள்.
24 அவள் அவனைப் பால்மறக்கச் செய்தபின்பு, மூன்று காளைகளையும் ‡ 3 வயது காளைகளையும் , ஒரு மரக்கால் § ஏறக்குறைய 10. கிலோ மாவையும், ஒரு தோல்பை திராட்சை ரசத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, அவனையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, சீலோவிலிருக்கிற யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் போனாள்; பிள்ளை இன்னும் குழந்தையாக இருந்தான்.
25 அவர்கள் ஒரு காளையைப் பலியிட்டு, பிள்ளையை ஏலியினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து விட்டார்கள்.
26 அப்பொழுது அவள்: என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனே, இங்கே உம்முடைய அருகிலே நின்று யெகோவாவை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பம் செய்த பெண் நான்தான் என்று என்னுடைய ஆண்டவனாகிய உம்முடைய ஜீவனைக் கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்.
27 இந்தப் பிள்ளைக்காக விண்ணப்பம்செய்தேன்; நான் யெகோவாவிடத்தில் கேட்ட என்னுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தின்படி எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.
28 எனவே, அவன் யெகோவாவெக்கென்று கேட்கப்பட்டதால், அவன் உயிரோடிருக்கும் எல்லா நாட்களும் அவனைக் யெகோவாவுக்கே ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன் என்றாள்; அவன் அங்கே யெகோவாவைத் தொழுதுகொண்டான். PE

2 And he had two H8147 ONUM wives H802 GFP ; the name H8034 CMS of the one H259 OFS was Hannah H2584 , and the name H8034 W-CMS of the other H8145 D-ONUM Peninnah H6444 : and Peninnah H6444 had H1961 W-VQY3MS children H3206 , but Hannah H2584 had no H369 NPAR children H3206 .
3 And this H1931 D-PPRO-3MS man H376 D-NMS went up H5927 out of his city H5892 yearly H3117 to worship H7812 and to sacrifice H2076 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS of hosts H6635 in Shiloh H7887 . And the two H8147 ONUM sons H1121 of Eli H5941 , Hophni H2652 and Phinehas H6372 , the priests H3548 NMP of the LORD H3068 , were there H8033 W-ADV .
4 And when the time H3117 D-AMS was H1961 W-VQY3MS that Elkanah H511 offered H2076 , he gave H5414 W-VQQ3MS to Peninnah H6444 his wife H802 CFS-3MS , and to all H3605 WL-CMS her sons H1121 CMP-3FS and her daughters H1323 CFP-3FS , portions H4490 :
5 But unto Hannah H2584 he gave H5414 VHFA a H259 OFS worthy H639 portion H4490 ; for H3588 CONJ he loved H157 Hannah H2584 : but the LORD H3068 W-EDS had shut up H5462 VQQ3MS her womb H7358 .
6 And her adversary H6869 also H1571 CONJ provoked H3707 her sore H3708 , for to H5668 B-NMS make her fret H7481 , because H3588 CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS had shut up H5462 VQQ3MS her womb H7358 .
7 And as he did H6213 VQY3MS so H3651 ADV year H8141 NFS by year H8141 , when H1767 she went up H5927 to the house H1004 B-CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS , so H3651 ADV she provoked H3707 her ; therefore she wept H1058 , and did not H3808 W-NPAR eat H398 .
8 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS Elkanah H511 her husband H376 to her , Hannah H2584 , why H4100 weepest H1058 thou ? and why H4100 eatest H398 thou not H3808 NADV ? and why H4100 is thy heart H3824 grieved H7489 ? am not H3808 ADV I H595 PPRO-1MS better H2896 AMS to thee than ten H6235 sons H1121 ?
9 So Hannah H2584 rose up H6965 after H310 PREP they had eaten H398 VQQ3FS in Shiloh H7887 , and after H310 they had drunk H8354 . Now Eli H5941 the priest H3548 sat H3427 VQPMS upon H5921 PREP a seat H3678 by H5921 PREP a post H4201 of the temple H1964 CMS of the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
10 And she H1931 was in bitterness H4751 of soul H5315 , and prayed H6419 unto H5921 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS , and wept sore H1058 .
11 And she vowed H5087 a vow H5088 , and said H559 , O LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , if H518 PART thou wilt indeed look H7200 on the affliction H6040 of thine handmaid H519 , and remember H2142 me , and not H3808 ADV forget H7911 thine handmaid H519 , but wilt give H5414 unto thine handmaid H519 a man H376 NMP child H2233 NMS , then I will give H5414 him unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS all H3605 NMS the days H3117 CMP of his life H2416 , and there shall no H3808 NADV razor H4177 come H5927 VQY3MS upon H5921 PREP his head H7218 CMP-3MS .
12 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQQ3MS , as H3588 CONJ she continued H7235 praying H6419 before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS , that Eli H5941 marked H8104 her mouth H6310 CMS-3FS .
13 Now Hannah H2584 , she H1931 PPRO-3FS spoke H1696 in H5921 PREP her heart H3820 ; only H7535 ADV her lips H8193 moved H5128 , but her voice H6963 was not H3808 NADV heard H8085 : therefore Eli H5941 thought H2803 she had been drunken H7910 .
14 And Eli H5941 said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3FS her , How H5704 PREP long H4970 IGAT wilt thou be drunken H7937 ? put away H5493 thy wine H3196 from thee .
15 And Hannah H2584 answered H6030 and said H559 W-VQY3FS , No H3808 NADV , my lord H113 , I am a woman H802 NFS of a sorrowful H7186 spirit H7307 NFS : I H595 PPRO-1MS have drunk H8354 neither H3808 NADV wine H3196 nor strong drink H7941 , but have poured out H8210 my soul H5315 CFS-1MS before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
16 Count H5414 VQY2MS not H408 NPAR thine handmaid H519 for H6440 L-CMP a daughter of Belial H1100 NMS : for H3588 CONJ out of the abundance H7230 M-NMS of my complaint H7879 CMS and grief H3708 have I spoken H1696 VPQ1MS hitherto H5704 PREP .
17 Then Eli H5941 answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and said H559 W-VQY3MS , Go H1980 in peace H7965 : and the God H430 of Israel H3478 grant H5414 VHFA thee thy petition H7596 that H834 RPRO thou hast asked H7592 of him .
18 And she said H559 W-VQY3FS , Let thine handmaid H8198 find H4672 VQY2MS grace H2580 NMS in thy sight H5869 . So the woman H802 D-NFS went H1980 W-VQQ3FS her way H1870 , and did eat H398 W-VQY3FS , and her countenance H6440 was H1961 VQQ3MP no H3808 NADV more H5750 ADV sad .
19 And they rose up in the morning early H7925 , and worshiped H7812 before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS , and returned H7725 W-VUY3MP , and came H935 W-VQY3MP to H413 PREP their house H1004 to Ramah H7414 : and Elkanah H511 knew H3045 W-VQY3MS Hannah H2584 his wife H802 CFS-3MS ; and the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS remembered H2142 her .
20 Wherefore it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS , when the time H3117 D-NMP was come H8622 about after Hannah H2584 had conceived H2029 W-VQY3FS , that she bore H3205 W-VQY3FS a son H1121 NMS , and called H7121 W-VQY2MS his name H8034 CMS-3MS Samuel H8050 , saying , Because H3588 CONJ I have asked H7592 him of the LORD H3068 .
21 And the man H376 D-NMS Elkanah H511 , and all H3605 W-CMS his house H1004 NMS-3MS , went up H5927 W-VHY3MS to offer H2076 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS the yearly H3117 D-NMP sacrifice H2077 NMS , and his vow H5088 .
22 But Hannah H2584 went not up H5927 ; for H3588 CONJ she said H559 VQQ3FS unto her husband H376 , I will not go up until H5704 PREP the child H5288 be weaned H1580 , and then I will bring H935 him , that he may appear H7200 before H6440 CMP the LORD H3068 EDS , and there H8033 ADV abide H3427 forever H5704 PREP .
23 And Elkanah H511 her husband H376 said H559 W-VQY3MS unto her , Do H6213 what seemeth H5869 thee good H2896 D-NMS ; tarry H3427 until H5704 PREP thou have weaned H1580 him ; only H389 ADV the LORD H3068 EDS establish H6965 his word H1697 . So the woman H802 D-NFS abode H3427 , and gave her son suck H3243 until H5704 PREP she weaned H1580 him .
24 And when H834 K-RPRO she had weaned H1580 him , she took him up H5927 with H5973 PREP-3FS her , with three H7969 NFS bullocks H6499 , and one H259 OFS ephah H374 of flour H7058 , and a bottle H5035 of wine H3196 NMS , and brought H935 him unto the house H1004 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS in Shiloh H7887 : and the child H5288 was young H5288 .
25 And they slew H7819 a bullock H6499 , and brought H935 the child H5288 to H413 PREP Eli H5941 .
26 And she said H559 W-VQY3FS , Oh H994 my lord H113 , as thy soul H5315 liveth H2416 , my lord H113 , I H589 PPRO-1MS am the woman H802 D-NFS that stood H5324 by H5973 thee here H2088 , praying H6419 unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
27 For H413 PREP this H2088 D-PMS child H5288 I prayed H6419 ; and the LORD H3068 EDS hath given H5414 W-VQQ3MS me my petition H7596 which H834 RPRO I asked H7592 of him :
28 Therefore also H1571 W-CONJ I H595 PPRO-1MS have lent H7592 him to the LORD H3068 L-EDS ; as long H3605 NMS as H834 RPRO he liveth H3117 D-NMP he H1931 PPRO-3MS shall be H1961 VQQ3MS lent H7592 to the LORD H3068 L-EDS . And he worshiped H7812 the LORD H3068 there H8033 ADV .
