19 மனுஷகுமாரன் போஜனபானம்பண்ணுகிறவராய் வந்தார்; அதற்கு அவர்கள்: இதோ, போஜனப்பிரியனும் மதுபானப்பிரியனுமான மனுஷன், ஆயக்காரருக்கும் பாவிகளுக்கும் சிநேகிதன் என்கிறார்கள். ஆனாலும், ஞானமானது அதன் பிள்ளைகளால் நீதியுள்ளதென்று ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்றார்.

ERVKN   ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬಂದನು. ಆತನು ಬೇರೆ ಜನರಂತೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಜನರು, ‘ನೋಡಿರಿ! ಅವನು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಬಾಕ, ಅವನು ಕುಡುಕ, ಸುಂಕವಸೂಲಿಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಜನರು ಅವನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ತನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ತನ್ನ ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.”
