1 அடுத்துச் சுகீத்தனான பால்தாத் பேசினான்:
2 ஆட்சி கடவுளுக்குரியது, அவருக்கே அஞ்சவேண்டும்; தாம் ஆளும் உன்னதங்களில் அவர் சமாதானம் நிலவச் செய்கிறார்.
3 அவருடைய படைகளுக்கு எண்ணிக்கையும் உண்டோ? அவரது ஒளி யார் மேல் தான் விழுவதில்லை?
4 கடவுள் முன் மனிதன் தன்னை நீதிமானாய்க் கருத முடியுமா? பெண் வயிற்றில் பிறந்தவன் தூய்மையாய் இருக்கக்கூடுமா?
5 இதோ, வெண்ணிலவும் அவர் முன் ஒளி குன்றுகிறது, அவர் கண்ணுக்கு விண்மீன்களும் தூய்மையற்றவையே.
6 அப்படியிருக்க, பூச்சிக்கொத்த மனிதன் எம்மாத்திரம்? புழுவுக்கு நிகரான மனிதன் எம்மாத்திரம்?"
