Jeremiah 42:4 (RCTA) Old Roman Catholical Bible for Tamil Language

1 போர் வீரரின் தலைவர்களும், காரை மகன் யோகானானும், யோசியாஸ் மகன் யேசோனியாசும், பெரியவன் முதல் சிறியவன் வரையுள்ள மற்ற பொதுமக்கள் யாவரும்,
2 எரெமியாஸ் இறைவாக்கினரிடம் வந்து, அவரைப் பார்த்து, "எங்கள் தாழ்மையான கோரிக்கையைக் கேளும்; எங்களுக்காகவும், எஞ்சியிருக்கும் இவர்கள் அனைவருக்காகவும் உம்முடைய கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரிடம் மன்றாடும்; (ஏனெனில் இப்பொழுது நீரே காண்பது போல, மிகச் சிலரே எஞ்சியிருக்கிறோம்)
3 உம்முடைய கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர், நாங்கள் ஒழுக வேண்டிய நெறியையும், செய்யவேண்டிய செயல்களையும் எங்களுக்குக் காட்டும்படி கேளும்" என்றார்கள்.
4 இறைவாக்கினரான எரெமியாஸ் அவர்களை நோக்கி, "நீங்கள் சொன்னதைக் கேட்டேன்; நீங்கள் என்னைக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டவாறே, உங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரை மன்றாடுவேன்; அவர் என்ன மறுமொழி சொல்லுகிறாரோ, அதை மறைக்காமல் உங்களுக்கு முற்றிலும் தெரிவிப்பேன்" என்றார்.
5 அப்போது அவர்கள் எரெமியாசைப் பார்த்து, "உம்முடைய கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் பேரால் நீர் எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லும் எல்லா வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் ஏற்றபடி நடப்போம்; இதற்கு உண்மையும் பிரமாணிக்கமும் உள்ள சாட்சியாக ஆண்டவரே இருக்கட்டும்!
6 நன்மையோ தீமையோ எதுவாயினும், ஆண்டவராகிய நம் கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தைக்கு நாங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிவோம்; அவரிடமே நாங்கள் உம்மை அனுப்புகிறோம்; நாங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய நம் கடவுளின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு நலமாயிருப்பதே எங்கள் பேரவா" என்றார்கள்.
7 பத்து நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு, ஆண்டவருடைய வாக்கு எரெமியாசுக்கு அருளப்பட்டது;
8 அவர் காரை மகன் யோகானானையும், அவனோடிருந்த எல்லாப் போர்வீரர்களுடைய தலைவர்களையும், சிறியோர் முதல் பெரியோர் வரை எல்லா மக்களையும் அழைத்து, அவர்களுக்கு அறிவித்த செய்தி இதுவே:
9 உங்கள் தாழ்மையான கோரிக்கையைத் தெரிவிக்குமாறு நீங்கள் என்னை அனுப்பிய இஸ்ராயேலின் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் கூறுகிறார்:
10 நீங்கள் இந்நாட்டிலேயே தங்குவீர்களாகில், உங்களை உறுதியாய்க் கட்டியெழுப்புவோம்; அழிக்கமாட்டோம்; உங்களை நிலைநாட்டுவோம்; பிடுங்கி ஏறிய மாட்டோம்; இந்நேரம் வரையில் உங்களுக்கு நாம் அனுப்பிய துன்பங்களை முன்னிட்டு நாம் மனம் வருந்துகிறோம்.
11 நீங்கள் பயந்து நடுங்கும் பபிலோனிய அரசனுக்கு இனி அஞ்ச வேண்டாம்; அவனுக்குப் பயப்பட வேண்டாம்; ஏனெனில் உங்களை மீட்கவும், அவன் கைகளிலிருந்து உங்களை விடுவிக்கவும் உங்களோடு நாம் இருக்கிறோம், என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.
12 நாம் உங்கள்மேல் நம் இரக்கத்தைப் பொழிவோம்; உங்கள்மேல் மனமிரங்கி, உங்களை உங்கள் நாட்டிலேயே குடியிருக்கச் செய்வோம்.
13 ஆனால் நீங்கள், 'இந்த நாட்டில் நாங்கள் தங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்' என்று சொல்லி, உங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையை மீறினால்,
14 முடியாது, நாங்கள் எகிப்து நாட்டுக்குப் போயே தீருவோம்; அங்கே போர் இருக்காது; போர் முரசு கேட்காது; உணவுப் பஞ்சம் இராது; அங்கேயே நாங்கள் தங்கி வாழ்வோம்' என்று சொல்வீர்களானால்,
15 யூதாவில் எஞ்சியிருப்பவர்களே, ஆண்டவருடைய வாக்கைக் கேளுங்கள்: இஸ்ராயேலின் கடவுளாகிய சேனைகளின் ஆண்டவர் கூறுகிறார்: நீங்கள் எகிப்து நாட்டுக்குப் போய் அங்கே குடியிருக்க எண்ணுவீர்களானால்,
16 நீங்கள் இங்கு அஞ்சும் வாளே உங்களை எகிப்து நாட்டில் வந்து வளைத்துக் கொள்ளும்; உங்களுக்கு இங்கே அச்சமூட்டும் பஞ்சம் எகிப்து நாட்டுக்கும் உங்களை விடாமல் தொடர்ந்து வரும்; நீங்களோ அங்கேயே சாவீர்கள்.
17 எகிப்து நாட்டுக்குப் போய் அங்கேயே குடியிருக்கத் தீர்மானித்துப் புறப்படுகிறவர்கள் அனைவரும் அந்நாட்டிலேயே வாளாலும் பசியாலும் கொள்ளைநோயாலும் மடிவார்கள்; நாம் அவர்கள் மேல் கொண்டு வரப்போகும் தீமையினின்று தப்பியவனோ எஞ்சியவனோ அவர்களுள் காணப்படமாட்டான்.
18 ஏனெனில் இஸ்ராயேலின் கடவுளாகிய சேனைகளின் ஆண்டவர் கூறுகிறார்: யெருசலேமின் குடிகள் மேல் நம்முடைய கோபமும் ஆத்திரமும் மூண்டெழுந்தது போல, நீங்கள் எகிப்து நாட்டுக்குள் நுழையும் போது உங்கள் மேலும் நம் ஆத்திரம் மூண்டெழும்; அங்கே நீங்கள் பகைமைக்கும் திகைப்புக்கும் சாபத்திற்கும் அவமானத்திற்கும் உள்ளாவீர்கள்; மீண்டும் இந்நாட்டை நீங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் பார்க்கவே மாட்டீர்கள்.
19 யூதாவில் எஞ்சியிருப்பவர்களே, 'எகிப்துக்குப் போகவேண்டாம்' என்று ஆண்டவர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லி விட்டார்; நானும் உங்களுக்கு இன்று எச்சரிக்கை செய்தேன் என்பதை நன்றாகத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்;
20 நீங்கள் எகிப்துக்குப் போனால் உங்கள் உயிருக்குத் தீங்கு தேடிக்கொள்வீர்கள்; ஏனெனில் நீங்களே என்னை உங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரிடம் அனுப்பி, 'நம் கடவுளாகிய ஆன்டவரிடம் எங்களுக்காக மன்றாடும்; நம் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்வதையெல்லாம் தெரியப்படுத்தும்; நாங்கள் அவ்வாறே நடப்போம்' என்று என்னிடம் சொன்னீர்கள்.
21 இன்று நான் அதை உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்திருக்கிறேன்; நீங்களோ உங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவர் என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பிச் சொன்னவற்றில் எதையும் கேட்டு அதன்படி நடக்கவில்லை.
22 ஆதலால் இதைத் திண்ணமாய் அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்: நீங்கள் குடியேறி வாழ நினைத்திருக்கும் அந்த இடத்திலேயே வாளாலும் பஞ்சத்தாலும் கொள்ளை நோயாலும் மடிவீர்கள்."
1 Then all H3605 NMS the captains H8269 CMP of the forces H2428 , and Johanan H3110 the son H1121 of Kareah H7143 , and Jezaniah H3153 the son H1121 of Hoshaiah H1955 , and all H3605 NMS the people H5971 from the least H6996 even unto H5704 W-PREP the greatest H1419 , came near H5066 ,
2 And said H559 W-VQY3MP unto H413 PREP Jeremiah H3414 the prophet H5030 , Let , we beseech thee H4994 IJEC , our supplication H8467 be accepted H5307 before H6440 L-CMP-2MS thee , and pray H6419 for H1157 PREP us unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS , even for H1157 PREP all H3605 NMS this H2063 D-DFS remnant H7611 ; ( CONJ for CONJ we are left H7604 but a few H4592 AMS of many H7235 , as H834 K-RPRO thine eyes H5869 CMD-2MS do behold H7200 us : )
3 That the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS may show H5046 W-VHI3MS us the way H1870 D-NMS wherein H834 RPRO we may walk H1980 , and the thing H1697 D-NMS that H834 RPRO we may do H6213 .
4 Then Jeremiah H3414 the prophet H5030 said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP them , I have heard H8085 VQQ1MS you ; behold H2009 , I will pray H6419 unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 according to your words H1697 ; and it shall come to pass H1961 W-VQQ3MS , that whatsoever H3605 CMS thing H1697 D-NMS the LORD H3068 EDS shall answer H6030 VQY3MS you , I will declare H5046 VHY3MS it unto you ; I will keep nothing back H4513 VQY1MS from H4480 M-PPRO-2MS you .
5 Then they H1992 said H559 VQQ3MP to H413 PREP Jeremiah H3414 , The LORD H3068 EDS be H1961 VPY3MS a true H571 CFS and faithful H539 witness H5707 L-NMS between us , if H518 PART we do H6213 not H3808 NADV even H3651 ADV according to all H3605 things H1697 D-NMS for the which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS shall send H7971 thee to H413 us .
6 Whether H518 PART it be good H2896 AMS , or whether H518 PART it be evil H7451 AMS , we will obey H8085 VQY1MP the voice H6963 B-NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 , to whom H834 RPRO we H580 send H7971 thee ; that L-CONJ it may be well H3190 VQY3MS with us , when H3588 CONJ we obey H8085 VQY1MP the voice H6963 B-NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 .
7 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS after H7093 M-CMS ten H6235 days H3117 NMP , that the word H1697 NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS came H1961 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP Jeremiah H3414 .
8 Then called H7121 W-VQY3MS he Johanan H3110 the son H1121 of Kareah H7143 , and all H3605 NMS the captains H8269 CMP of the forces H2428 which H834 RPRO were with H854 PREP-3MS him , and all H3605 NMS the people H5971 from the least H6996 even to H5704 W-PREP the greatest H1419 ,
9 And said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MP them , Thus H3541 saith H559 W-VQY3MS the LORD H3068 EDS , the God H430 CDP of Israel H3478 , unto H413 PREP-3MS whom H834 RPRO ye sent H7971 me to present H5307 your supplication H8467 before H6440 him ;
10 If H518 PART ye will still abide H7725 in this H2063 D-DFS land H776 B-NFS , then will I build H1129 you , and not H3808 W-NPAR pull you down H2040 , and I will plant H5193 you , and not H3808 W-NPAR pluck you up H5428 : for H3588 CONJ I repent H5162 VNQ1MS me of H413 PREP the evil H7451 D-AFS that H834 RPRO I have done H6213 VQQ1MS unto you .
11 Be not H408 NPAR afraid H3372 of M-CMP the king H4428 NMS of Babylon H894 LFS , of whom H834 RPRO ye H859 PPRO-2MS are afraid H3372 ; be not H408 NPAR afraid H3372 of H4480 M-PREP-3MS him , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS : for H3588 CONJ I H589 PPRO-1MS am with H854 PART-2MP you to save H3467 you , and to deliver H5337 you from his hand H3027 .
12 And I will show H5414 mercies H7356 unto you , that he may have mercy upon H7355 you , and cause you to return H7725 to H413 PREP your own land H127 .
13 But if H518 W-PART ye H859 PPRO-2MS say H559 , We will not H3808 NADV dwell H3427 in this H2063 D-DFS land H776 B-NFS , neither H1115 L-NPAR obey H8085 the voice H6963 B-NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 ,
14 Saying H559 L-VQFC , No H3808 NADV ; but H3588 CONJ we will go H935 VNQ3MS into the land H776 GFS of Egypt H4714 EFS , where H834 RPRO we shall see H7200 no H3808 ADV war H4421 NFS , nor H3808 NADV hear H8085 the sound H6963 W-CMS of the trumpet H7782 , nor H3808 ADV have hunger H7456 of bread H3899 ; and there H8033 W-ADV will we dwell H3427 :
15 And now H6258 W-ADV therefore H3651 L-ADV hear H8085 VQI2MP the word H1697 NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS , ye remnant H7611 of Judah H3063 ; Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , the God H430 CDP of Israel H3478 ; If H518 PART ye H859 PPRO-2MS wholly set H7760 your faces H6440 CMP-2MP to enter into H935 Egypt H4714 EFS , and go H935 to sojourn H1481 L-VQFC there H8033 ADV ;
16 Then it shall come to pass H1961 W-VQQ3FS , that the sword H2719 D-GFS , which H834 RPRO ye H859 PPRO-2MS feared H3373 , shall overtake H5381 you there H8033 ADV in the land H776 B-GFS of Egypt H4714 , and the famine H7458 , whereof H834 RPRO ye H859 PPRO-2MS were afraid H1672 , shall follow close H1692 after H310 you there H8033 ADV in Egypt H4714 EFS ; and there H8033 W-ADV ye shall die H4191 .
17 So shall it be H1961 with all H3605 CMS the men H376 D-NMP that H834 RPRO set H7760 VQQ3MP their faces H6440 CMP-3MP to go into H935 L-VQFC Egypt H4714 EFS to sojourn H1481 L-VQFC there H8033 ADV ; they shall die H4191 VQY3MP by the sword H2719 , by the famine H7458 , and by the pestilence H1698 : and none H3808 W-NPAR of them shall H1961 VQY3MS remain H8300 NMS or escape H6412 from M-CMP the evil H7451 D-AFS that H834 RPRO I H589 PPRO-1MS will bring H935 VHPMS upon H5921 PREP-3MP them .
18 For H3588 CONJ thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , the God H430 CDP of Israel H3478 ; As H834 K-RPRO mine anger H639 CMS-1MS and my fury H2534 hath been poured forth H5413 upon H5921 PREP the inhabitants H3427 of Jerusalem H3389 ; so H3651 ADV shall my fury H2534 be poured forth H5413 upon H5921 PREP you , when ye shall H1961 W-VQQ2MP enter into H935 Egypt H4714 : and ye shall be an execration H423 , and an astonishment H8047 , and a curse H7045 , and a reproach H2781 ; and ye shall see H7200 this H2088 D-PMS place H4725 D-NMS no H3808 W-NPAR more H5750 ADV .
19 The LORD H3068 EDS hath said H1696 VPQ3MS concerning H5921 PREP-2MP you , O ye remnant H7611 of Judah H3063 ; Go H935 ye not H408 NPAR into Egypt H4714 : know certainly H3045 that H3588 CONJ I have admonished H5749 you this day H3117 D-NMS .
20 For H3588 CONJ ye dissembled H8582 in your hearts H5315 , when H3588 CONJ ye H859 PPRO-2MS sent H7971 me unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 , saying H559 L-VQFC , Pray H6419 for H1157 us unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 ; and according unto all H3605 that H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 shall say H559 VQY3MS , so H3651 ADV declare H5046 unto us , and we will do H6213 it .
21 And now I have this day H3117 D-AMS declared H5046 it to you ; but ye have not H3808 W-NPAR obeyed H8085 the voice H6963 B-NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 , nor any H3605 WL-CMS thing for the which H834 RPRO he hath sent H7971 me unto H413 you .
22 Now H6258 W-ADV therefore know certainly H3045 that H3588 CONJ ye shall die H4191 by the sword H2719 , by the famine H7458 , and by the pestilence H1698 , in the place H4725 whither H834 RPRO ye desire H2654 to go H935 L-VQFC and to sojourn H1481 L-VQFC .
